Recently, the WeWard community united to support SPCA International’s PAWsitive Recovery program, resulting in an incredible $10,000 donation. Our PAWsitive Recovery program is dedicated to giving both people in recovery and animals in shelters a new “leash” on life. It focuses on healing the wounds of addiction, trauma, and abuse by offering temporary pet foster care for individuals seeking treatment or recovering from domestic violence. The program also includes animal-focused workshops and animal-assisted therapy in treatment centers and shelters.
